Thank you for your question whether buttock tissue expanders exist. Tissue expanders come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Tissues expanders are not targeted for specific body parts. However, if you are looking for buttock tissue expanders, there are certainty large tissue expanders that can be placed in the buttock. Typically, this would be a round tissue expander that I would use for breast reconstruction. In the US, the largest FDA approved silicone buttock implant is 712 cc. That is an off the shelf buttock implant. However, custom buttock implants can be created. If you want to achieve 1500 cc in each buttock, I would suggest a staged approach. Indeed, buttock tissue expanders may be the safest way to achieve this. I would be concerned in the expansion of the buttock tissue to achieve maximum results. It may take several months to get the buttock skin expanded, but I believe conceptually, this buttock expansion is possible. Once the buttock tissue has been expanded with the buttock expander, a custom implant will have to be created. However, there are blocks of semi-solid silicone which could be carved to your desired buttock shape and size. Please seek an experienced board certified plastic surgeon.
