How is chin lipo performed the same time as a facelift? And will the chin be bruised and tender afterwards? Wondering if it’s too much to do at once.

Answer: Chin lipo Chin liposuction can be done at the same time as a face lift, especially if the neck is being contoured as well. Some surgeons will elect to surgically remove fat from that area while they can directly see it to eliminate the need for liposuction altogether. Anytime liposuction is performed you should expect a degree of bruising and soreness but it usually gets better pretty quickly (1-2 weeks). Hope this helps!

In our practice, the goal of a lower face and neck lift is to tighten loose facial and neck skin, tighten loose facial and neck muscles, lift the jowls, and remove fat deposits in the neck located both above and below the platysma muscle when present. We also perform a platysma-plasty in the neck as well
