I’ve had two surgeries already to reduce just the chin corners (no jaw) as it was originally very square. Both the surgeons told me there may still be asymmetry afterwards because it depends on the overlying tissues. So I’m pretty sure the bone underneath is symmetrical by now. I know everyone has asymmetry but the tissues on the left make it look like the tip of my chin is on the far left and it bothers me. I have an on-camera job and it’s pretty noticeable. What can be done?
Answer: Recommend doing morpheus8 to help add symmetry to your chin and jawline A non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Chin asymmetry Dear annalamba, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: You must try Botox! The problem you are currently experiencing is due to the fact that the existing muscle above the bone is of different lengths on the right and left. The best and simplest method for this will be to reduce the contraction of these muscles with botox. If you are still not happy with the asymmetry after botox, the muscle can be stretched with a new surgery. I’m the only triple board-certified facial plastic surgeon all around Europe. I’m just focused on this issue. I am a doctor who goes to almost every country in the world and explains my techniques to important doctors with the seminar invitations I receive, so I am definitely the only doctor who can perform your operation very comfortably and successfully. You can get more detailed information about me, ask all questions about your case and sending your photos to my assistants at the number on my profile (+90 539 204 40 90). You can also book an online consultation and discuss your problems with me. With all respect.

Answer: Making an assessment after surgery To assess the outcome of an operation we have to see proper before and after pictures. If someone has had two surgeries then we need to see before and after pictures of each operation. If you don’t have proper before and after pictures then ask your surgeons to forward them once they took before and after surgery. It’s a little difficult to understand what your concern is and we can’t speak to the outcome of an operation if we don’t know what you look like before hand. If you want a proper second opinion then you’re probably better off scheduling that as an in person consultation. For that you should bring all the above described before and after pictures and also copies of your two previous operative reports. These are all available from your doctor or doctors offices if you just request complete copies of your medical records. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
