After three rounds of Kybella, my double chin area is worse. How can I fix the asymmetry, skin laxity and indentation? (Photo)

A non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. Buccal fat pad gives slimming not symmetry. Masseter botox will make you slimmer and make the jawline more loose. Fillers help give shaping and contouring. If you want perfect or close to perfect symmetry you need maxillofacial surgery or implants customized. I suggest seeing an expert to go through all options. Most of my younger clients use fillers to give them shaping especially on the cheeks, jawline, and chin which make the face look more slim and tight; and threads such as PDO or Instalift can build collagen and support the facial shaping and skin looseness over time, slowing down the aging process and given the face a more “snatched” look; and morpheus8 or PiXel8 deep microneedling RF can tighten crepe skin especially on the neck and jawline and is great for long term tightening of the full face, neck and chest; its often used to give the face a slimmer more sculpted look because it tightens the skin and gives lift. an early face lift can be performed as well even in younger clients if they want a different facial shape, maxillofacial surgery with bone breaking or shaving can also be done. Kybella typically takes 3 to 5 treatments to work. This is why I've stopped carrying Kybella in my office. I recommend neck liposuction more often then any injectable procedure for the neck now. It provides superior results gives me more control over the area than any injectable. It also costs about the same as what you paid for your first kybella session. The liposuction can be done under local while awake in the office and recovery is about the same as kybella.

Thank you for your question and posting appropriate pictures. It seems you could use more sessions of Kybella the areas of protrusion or undergo liposuction and skin tightening under local anesthesia. It is best to have a virtual consultation for precise recommendations.

Most plastic surgeons do not recommend or use Cay Bella. It is inferior liposuction by every standard.

Liposuction is the gold standard. I suggest you have multiple in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons in regards to getting the treatment you should’ve had in the first place which is Liposuction.
Delivering consistent quality liposuction results is more difficult than most people believe. There is a significant difference in quality of outcome among different providers.
Considering that revision work is more difficult than primary Liposuction despite that your first treatment was Kybella your situation now is virtually the same as having revision liposuction.
Ask providers to show their entire portfolio of chin and neck liposuction results to see you as many pictures as possible. In the hands of a good plastic surgeon they should be able to correct this and give you a much better results.
It may not be a bad idea to write a review about your experience so other patients can know what you went through and how the procedure went for you.
