Excess skin & fat btw breast and armpit after brachioplasty, crepe-like skin, can this be removed or corrected at all? (photos)

Hi Beth, Congratulations on your massive weight loss!! Congratulations also on your brachioplasty or arm lift. Thank you for your pictures. What you have is not uncommon. Frequently, I see your conditionin my plastic surgery practice.  This is due to weight loss and loss of upper pole breast fat. This leads to crêpe paper skin in the upper portion of the breast.The best way to get rid of the skin in the upper pole of the breast is to remove or excise it. This can be done within elliptical incision from the armpit to the upper bra strap line. Since the procedure removes excess skin and fat of the torso, this procedure is called a vertical torsoplasty.  The torsoplasty incision can be placed where your prior brachioplasty or arm lift scar ends. When your arm is held by your side, this torsoplasty scar should be well . This is a relatively straightforward procedure.Good luck. Thank you for including pictures.  You are healing very well after your surgery and your results look great.  The loose skin above the bra is a problem many women face.  This can be corrected with removing more skin in the axilla or sometimes it can be corrected with a breast lift when it tightens the skin around the breast.  I would wait until your are completely healed at a year and then re evaluate to see which resection provides the best result.

Thank you for your pictures. Your brachioplasty incision looks marvelous. I'm glad you please with all your results. This area can be somewhat improved by extending the incision on the chest wall in the bra area. You must except the longer scar. Careful examination and planning the to go into this decision.  Good luck. 

It is not unusual to have excess skin of the axillary area and the upper back after massive weight loss.  This can be corrected by a thoracoplasty.  

The excess skin and fat lateral chest, arm pit area can be improved. I think you also have excess skin in the upper back. All this can be corrected, you have to accept scars which are with good planning can be hidden in a bikini top

This can often be corrected nicely by extending the scar in the armit down the chest and then under the breast, so it is well concealed. Make sure you see a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in life after weight loss surgery. Good luck!
