Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery. Best,Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon
Hyperpigmentation can be improved with a combination of lasers, Aerolase, microneedling/prp, skin lightening, peels, and skin care. Sun protection is essential. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
For uneven skin pigmentation I also recommend a skin regimen prior to to prepare the skin for the peel. Melarase AM cream is great to reduce hyperpigmentation and to correct uneven skin pigmentation. I also recommend Pigmentation Correction Complex to reduce hyperpigmentation of the skin. Also avoid sun exposure to prevent inflammation and skin burn injury for at least 4 weeks. Spectrase is highly effective. BestH Karamanoukian MD FACS

We have a proprietary blend of known lightening agents that we use, which is much more effective than agents currently on the market. You may also get better results by starting with a salicylic bleaching peel. These are very helpful at reducing PIH in our practice
What you describe sounds like a pretty common event after a peel. A good peel will cause exfoliation which will cause whiteheads to empty out. I don't think you need to worry. I recommend trying to avoid any trauma to the newly exfoliated skin. Wishing you the best of health.
Our office has many different treatments for scars depending on the depth of atrophy or hypertrophy. Scars require a combination approach using our HI DEF protocol which uses a combination of lasers, topical scar modulation, and RF treatments to pixelate scars, improve contour, reduce...
I agree that pregnancy related pigmentation is best treated with TCA and Retin-A. It may takes months and multiple treatments to get the appropriate results.Make sure you have a formal evaluation with a dermatologist or plastic surgeon. Best wishes, Dr. ALDO :)
