I hate my big pores. I feel like they make me lose ok older. Am I looking too close to the mirror or are my pores really larger than average? What do you suggest I do to be happier with my skin and to look my age?
I'm a 28 year old female who has always had visible pores. I would love to get either a chemical peel or laser treatment to minimise the pores and also improve the skin texture and smoothness overall, ideally a very long lasting treatment rather then e.g., a monthly one, but there are so many options to choose from
I never used sunscreen so my face is 3/4 shade darken than my body, then i used neutrogena sunscreen but that didn't suit me, so i stopped. I want to make my face bright (my lips too), and scar free, please give me a right solution
Hello, I'm a 27 y.o. male, and i have had a farmers tan/permatan covering the exposed parts of my body (face, neck, lower arms/forearms, lower legs/calves) for pretty much as long as i can remember, which is significantly darker than the unexposed areas of my body (upper arms, chest, thighs/upper legs). I was hoping if i could get a professional dermatologists opinion on just how siginificant my farmers tan/permatan is, and if it would be possible to get rid of with a chemical peel.
Hello Doctors, I am struggling w/ under eye bags when smiling and discoloration. I've never had any procedures so need advice. 1. What would be the best treatment for my under eye bags that are not Botox or fillers? 2. What chemical peels would you suggest for my under eye discoloration? Thank you very much!
Im looking to get a chemical peel done very soon and am trying to capitalize on the roughly 6 days that Ill have off work. However, Im also planning on getting a tattoo during that week as well. Now, Im no doctor (I created this account with the name Dr Pepper because Im surprised nobody has taken it), but I would imagine that it would not be advisable to get a tattoo the same week as a chemical peel as your body would be directing resources (blood, new tissue growth, etc) to both of those areas therefore possibly prolonging the healing time and weakening the immune system therefore increasing the chance of infection. The issue is that I work an outdoor job and am constantly exposed to the sun and I rarely take time off of work. This would be one of the very few times Ill have this much time off where I wont be exposed to the sun. Anyway, Im doing it one way or another regardless but which is the lesser of evils here? Is it better to get it the same week as I get the tattoo? Or is it better to get it later on while being exposed to the Sun on a daily basis? It will be a medium peel probably (maybe light). The primary reason for the peel is to reduce the amount of deep and light wrinkles that I have. Maybe Im overthinking it or maybe Im not; maybe the tattoo isnt even an issue at all but figure Id rather gather some insight before I move forward with whatever option I move forward with. Thank you for your help in advance.
Are there any combination Medium-Depth chemical peels without Salicylic Acid. I am allergic to Salicylic Acid and all the combination chemical peels have Salicylic Acid. I Am African American and can't use TCA peel by itself. I loved the Obagi Blue Peel & it was perfect but they longer sell the peel anymore in Houston, Tx. Any suggestions would be great.
