37f, medium complexion. I've developed this texture skin since being diagnosed with rosacea a year ago. My rosacea is under control, but it did run rampant while doctors said I couldn't have rosacea because of my age and being Black American. The texture covers the area where my rosacea papules flare up. It really bothers me. Thanks for your help.
Hello Doctors, I am struggling w/ under eye bags when smiling and discoloration. I've never had any procedures so need advice. 1. What would be the best treatment for my under eye bags that are not Botox or fillers? 2. What chemical peels would you suggest for my under eye discoloration? Thank you very much!
I hate my big pores. I feel like they make me lose ok older. Am I looking too close to the mirror or are my pores really larger than average? What do you suggest I do to be happier with my skin and to look my age?
Ive been doing home peels 70% glycolic, Ive tried lactic acid, Ive tried peeling gels. The skin is still very rough and thick, it doesnt reduce even after 4 Montbs of consistent peels. Ive also tried 40% Urea cream nightly. Are there any treatments in London that can remove this tough skin and lighten it? It wasnt like this before, I've been on my knees a lot fixing things and looking after baby whos crawling. Any lasers, peels that I should be doing?
Voici le texte prt copier-coller : --- Subject / Titre : White scarring and fibrosis 2.5 years after combined TCA/phenol peel persistent skin changes Message : Hello, Im writing from France. About 2.5 years ago, I had a chemical peel that combined TCA 20% and phenol 10%, applied in two consecutive passes, spaced about 45 minutes apart. Since then, I have developed persistent white marks (hypopigmentation) and some areas of fibrosis, where the skin feels rigid or plastified, with an altered texture and a sort of loss of normal skin relief. In some spots, the surface looks almost like a thin plastic film over the skin, lacking flexibility and natural texture. I have seen two dermatologists, but they have different opinions on the condition and treatment options. I would greatly appreciate your opinion on the following: Is there any hope of improving the skin texture or pigmentation after 2.5 years? Have you treated similar cases, and what approaches (if any) were effective? Can very gentle treatments such as low-energy fractional lasers or microneedling help in remodeling this type of fibrosis or white scarring? Are there any topical options (like Melarase, or others) that could help soften or improve the appearance of these zones? Im attaching a photo for context (if applicable). Thank you sincerely for your time and any insight you can offer. Best regards, Ourgaud Isabelle
Hi! My name is Josh, and I'm hoping to get some advice on what my best course of action would be in achieving a smooth, rejuvenated skin texturenand appearance on my forehead and hopefully between my brows. I have been doing research on this for about 3 years now, and I determind for myself that the croton oil peel would be my best bet and bang for my buck. My reasoning for this is because 1. I want a more permanent solution to my problem. I'm not interested in botox and I would rather avoid the laser route as I know the shelf life is much less than a croton oil peel especially with a good skincare routine afterwards. 2 - I took accutane when I was a kid for my bad acne, while it did solve the acne problem, it ended up destroying my collagen and my elasticity, which made me extremely prone to bad sleep posture, sun damage, and a bad skincare routine. All of which I have been exposed to ovee the years. I stopped accutane when I was 19, I am 35 now. I am asking this question because I was told today by a Doc that I was not candidate for a deep peel, that i should do botox and that I was too young for the type of peel. I was shocked because he is the 1st doc to say i wasn't a candidate based off my photos, and that he wasn't understanding that I want a 1 and done procedure, not botox. Also, most people haven't taken accutane, which has sped up my skin damage, regardless of age, the problem is there. I just want new skin and would appreciate any help. Ty
I never used sunscreen so my face is 3/4 shade darken than my body, then i used neutrogena sunscreen but that didn't suit me, so i stopped. I want to make my face bright (my lips too), and scar free, please give me a right solution
I'm a 28 year old female who has always had visible pores. I would love to get either a chemical peel or laser treatment to minimise the pores and also improve the skin texture and smoothness overall, ideally a very long lasting treatment rather then e.g., a monthly one, but there are so many options to choose from
