What's the safest peel for black skin I've suffered from PIH for years I turned to wearing body makeup it's stressful 7 years my dermatologist said it would clear up on its own and only little has cleared in 7years desperately need quick solution please help And by the way I have Keloid skin. And what about the Obagi peel??

I definitely feel your frustration! OTC bleach creams probably won't do much but I have a cream that I use with my patients that has been a #1 seller for almost 20 years and definitely delivers the goods. I treat a lot of PIH in dark skin with great results. I've had patients tell me they've tried everything out there but I'm still able to help them. There are no quick fixes but with a combination approach, there is no reason you can't experience improvement in your condition.Chemical peels are also very helpful but you need to make sure you see an expert in dark skin because peels can also worsen your PIH. In general, peels don't cause keloids but some of the more aggressive ones certainly have the potential to do so.For best outcomes, you should see a dermatologist with expertise in ethnic skin.
