What you describe sounds like a pretty common event after a peel. A good peel will cause exfoliation which will cause whiteheads to empty out.  I don't think you need to worry. I recommend trying to avoid any trauma to the newly exfoliated skin. Wishing you the best of health.

There's nothing much to do at this point.  I am sure your skin will be fine.  The red will eventually resolve, but in the meantime, avoid further trauma to your skin.  Best of luck!
