Can you do microneedling after having ultherapy?

Question

I have heard that you can actually age skin by doing too much. I had ultherapy about 3 months ago on mu neck. Is there any risk in microneedling now? I actually did it already but now second guessing since the skin looks much better in the areas that did not have the ultherapy prior. It has been 3 days since the microneedling.

Ultherapy targets the deeper layers of the skin, starting from 1.5mm deep and going as deep as 4.5mm. Microneedling targets the more superficial layers of the skin. They work very well when used together. There is no problem in doing the microneedling after the Ultherapy. In fact, we have done both on the same day with very good results. There should be no problem having microneedling done after an Ultherapy treatment. Ultherapy uses ultrasound technology which targets deep tissue to provide lift and tightening effects on the skin. Microneedling does not penetrate as deep, and is a good option for overall skin rejuvenation. Many people have multiple microneedling treatments to keep skin looking young and healthy, and it can be used together with many types of other cosmetic treatments with no negative effects, including Ultherapy.

Micro-needling only treats the superficial layers of the skin. I would recommend that you seek micro-needling treatment that uses the added growth factor benefit of PRP.
