I was very please with the out come of the electrolysis procedure. After having four kids i needed a little rejuvenating. i would recommend this to my friends. Dr.Shel and her staff did an excellent job on explaining and the procedure itself. they were very gentile and the procedure was not painful.
Fine, all went well. Am pleased.Reception room is very nice and welcoming .Have been there many times before. Staff is always nice. The laser treatment machine does a good job. It is painless. Vickie is always friendly and professional. The treatment room is always clean and well lit. I have been other places for laser hair treatments with lesser results so I can recommend dr. Shel's practice. Have also had restyline treatment once also. Cannot speak for the other procedures the office does.
I went in for the cellulite treatment to my thighs front & back. It was hereditary cellulite. I heard that Dr. Shel's office offered a treatment for the the cellulite. I was a little hesitant because my cellulite was really bad & thought nothing would work for me. After signing up & getting the treatment, I could tell with the first treatment that my thighs looked better. My confidence has gone up & can know wear shorts that I could not wear before. My sister noticed the results after one session. All she could say is " Wow your thighs look great! I see a huge difference!" Vickie is amazing & very professional. She answered all my concerns & questions. I definitely recommend the treatment as well as Dr. Shel's office & Vickie.
I had tossed around the idea of tumescent liposuction but then came across a noninvasive procedure like this. I decided to give it a try on my stomach. The office said I would benefit most from a diamond pattern with the coolcurve+ Large suction cups. So I had each section done for the hour period. The initial pain was as if I was being sucked and caused a slight lightheadedness for 5 min until you started to go numb and not feel it at all. It was pretty uncomfortable but nothing a determined woman can't handle. I am about 30 lb over my goal weight but my stomach has never been flat at my goal weight, which I reached a couple years ago befor being diagnosed with CML Leukemia the same year I lost the weight. So, my determination was there!! I needed this as a jumpstart back into the gym and for my confidence. After the procedure, I had a red tummy and a feeling of sunburn. I functioned normally afterwards, hosted a swimming party for my daughter, went to a birthday dinner, and never had pain more than the slight muscle ache as if I had done too many crunches. I've been to the zoo and walked and swam and have had no troubles. I haven't noticed results yet, it's only been 2 days. I'll post again once I see something change. My second round will be in a month. This is the best way to acheive the most fat loss, according to Shel wellness in Sugar Land.
I had the vanquish procedure and I could see very little results if anything. I was told the fat would not come back in the treated areas. We several months later what little difference I saw is now back as if I did nothing at all. Definitely not worth the time or money. Now that I see they average cost I see that I paid way too much.
Yes! Definitely shaving is required in order to have a comfortable procedure. Hair can cause heat to accumulate and cause burns and blister.
If the screws are away from the area being treated, it's ok to have Emtone. There are no risk factors as long as the metal is away from the treated area. Example no treatment on face if dental implants or braces are in the vicinity.
Emtone is very tolerable for most patients and carries minimal risk. However, if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or undergoing chemotherapy, you should postpone your Emtone treatment. Its to be safe treatments can always wait.
Water is dehydrating to the skin. If your unable to use moisturizers then use essential oils (Young living). You would have to know how to dilute them with a carrier (almond, jojoba, hemp seed) . I Know its counterintuitive from what's you've been taught. When your skin is dehydrated it will absorb the essential oils quickly.
Exilis will definitely work on your skin laxity. This device works using ultrasound and RF, a series of 4+ will be needed. If done to protocol once a week your jaw line should be more define as well.
