You can do a lot to get the lip to be more symmetrical. But a formal consultaiton is needed to determine what is best. Dr. Emer.
Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. Each of us maintains some degree of asymmetry between the right and left sides of our face and this may simply be yours. That said you may be able to improve upon this subtlety with either well-placed dermal fillers or with a small amount of botox on your left side. Only an in-person examination to assess your lip position, with and without smilling, can offer the best advice. See an ASPS board certified plastic surgeon in consultation to discuss.
It might be possible to inject the lips to even things out. It is hard for me to see the exact problem with the lips. Sometimes, Botox might also help but this is less exact and I'd be afraid of correcting subtle problems with it. Remember that most people aren't symmetric and perfect symmetry isn't always achievable.
Thank you for your question and for sharing your photographs. Sorry that you are having some concerns about the appearance of your upper lip. Please keep in mind that some degree of facial asymmetry is normal. Your slight asymmetry can be improved by careful placement of Botox and/or filler. Natural results can be achieved. Please be sure to see an expert injector for an in-person consultation to fully discuss your goals and expectations in order to determine the best treatment plan. Hope this helps and best wishes!
I think you are being too critical of your lips; I don't see any great asymmetry that would distract from your over all look. I would consider making your nose smaller, which will bring more ballance to your over all look. Please see link below.
