I have experienced a complication as a result of a dermal filler procedure and have received multiple, conflicting diagnoses from different physicians (I have seen a dermatologist, two plastic surgeons and two aesthetic specialists). I have heard that overfilling the lips can cause a disruption in the wet-dry border junction of the lip. A plastic surgeon advised that this can lead to crusting of the lip. However, I can find no information about this. Is it reported in the literature? Where?
