I got diagnosed with Thrush, can I get Restylane before Christmas?

Question

I do not know how long I've had thrush, but it hurts and over night I went to the dr because it seems to have spread to my lips a little. I got a Groupon for a gift and it expires December 1st. Can I still get Restlyane injections for my lips before December? I am on a liquid nystatin 4x a day for 2 weeks, and if still needed fluconazole she said I probably wont need that. But can I still get my lip injections within 3-4 weeks?

I would not recommend getting any cosmetic treatments around the mouth (or probably anywhere else on the face) while an active thrush episode is happening. The risk of infection of the fillers or causing worsening of the thrush is too high. Keep in mind that with heavily discounted facial injectable treatments, you often get what you pay for. It is best not to treat the mouth area until all your symptoms are resolved, especially since there may be involvement of your lips. I would call the clinic at which you plan of getting treated and inform them of your situation so that can schedule you according to their protocol.
