I got diagnosed with Thrush, can I get Restylane before Christmas?

I do not know how long I've had thrush, but it hurts and over night I went to the dr because it seems to have spread to my lips a little. I got a Groupon for a gift and it expires December 1st. Can I still get Restlyane injections for my lips before December? I am on a liquid nystatin 4x a day for 2 weeks, and if still needed fluconazole she said I probably wont need that. But can I still get my lip injections within 3-4 weeks?

The fillers take so long to degrade that you really can't expect to wait this out. You have taken the right step of seeing an oculoplastic surgeon for an assessment. Did your injector also inject the eyebrows or subbrow areas? That is more often a cause of upper eyelid ptosis.

It's difficult to tell from your picture, but it can take up to 2 weeks for final results after Restylane. I would wait a full two weeks before assessing your results and whether you need a touch-up. Fat grafting is an alternative. Best, Dr. Emer

Hi @Ski bunny! I would recommend waiting two weeks for the swelling and bruising to subside. If you are unhappy after two weeks, you can dissolve the filler with Hyaluronidase. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!

Swelling and bruising is common after dermal fillers. The tear trough area is a very delicate area. I use a micro-cannula in my practice to decrease chances of bruising. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!

Hi Anni. There's no way to second guess your plastic surgeon which has already examined you. It's likely scar tissue if you were injected with HA. Perhaps time or a procedure to excise can make this a lot better. Best of luck, Dr. ALDO
