The fillers take so long to degrade that you really can't expect to wait this out. You have taken the right step of seeing an oculoplastic surgeon for an assessment. Did your injector also inject the eyebrows or subbrow areas? That is more often a cause of upper eyelid ptosis.

if this was caused by a filler being injected into the temporal area alone, that means that the needle somehow injured a branch of the nerve that elevates the brow. This may or may not improve over time but I would be patient and simply wait this out as it may take many months in some cases. There is not much else you can do at this point in time but wait.
