Angela. Photos and physical examination would be helpful, however nine days postop is still quite early in your recovery and it is probably secondary to normal swelling. As a precaution, check in with your plastic surgeon. Best of luck.
Hi angelac523, I understand your concern. However, it is difficult to provide you with an accurate answer to your question with online consult. It is best that you visit a board certified plastic surgeon, so you can be properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Rest assured this is most likely a non-issue but I would go ahead and be seen or at least call your physician to discuss. You should be having a post op visit soon so please make sure the physician evaluates it in person and gives you feedback. Don't hesitate to ask your team, I would surely want to know this about my clients. Best of luck.
I agree with you that this is probably swollen lymph nodes from normal drainage of operative area. If it does not resolve soon, show to your plastic surgeon. Good luck.
Thank you for sharing your question. Unfortunately without photos or an in-person examination it is difficult to offer advice. I would reach out to your surgeon to describe this change in your recovery. They can then determine the cause, and treatment. Hope this helps.
It would be difficult to accurately advise without an in-person examination. You are still early in the healing process and what you are experiencing may still be persistent swelling. It would be best to follow up with your surgeon as he/she will know best about your condition.
While swollen lymph nodes would seem to be likely, I would recommend seeing your plastic surgeon for an in-person assessment to get this properly diagnosed and treated, if necessary. Hope this helps!
This can be a result of the surgery, however, it is best to go back to your operating surgeon to have it examined.
Thank you for your question. It is not uncommon to have lymph node swelling after breast augmentation. You should notify your surgeon so that he can make sure the swelling is resolving overtime. Best of luck in your recovery.
