It is quite common to see irregular menstrual cycle issues after breast implants and other operations where patients are exposed to anesthesia. However, if you're worried about pregnancy then checking a pregnancy test is a simple and straightforward action you can do at home.

Local or general anesthesia per se won't affect your menstrual cycle, but the stress of surgery or its disturbance on your lifestyle might delay it.  If you remained concerned, best to discuss your delayed or skipped menstrual cycle with your primary care physician to get investigated.  Hope this helps!

Many patients may experience a change in their menstrual cycle following surgery. This is common and some may have their menstrual cycle earlier. Prior to surgery, your plastic surgeon likely performed a pregnancy test. If you are concerned about pregnancy consult your OB/gyn. In general, you can expect this as normal due to the surgery.
