I had a transplant just over 90 days ago and seeing my first new hairs!!!! Very exciting to see and feel. Over time, will these hairs get thicker?
Answer: Thicken after transplant? Your grafts will go through cycles and continue to thicken.In addition new grafts will start to emerge through the scalp.It typically takes 10-12 months to see full results from your procedure.You should be looking good by next summer!

Density depends on various factors including the number of hairs per cm squared, the thickness and vibrancy of hair, direction and design of hair. Techniques for density vary from surgeon to surgeon. Answer: Density and growth of hair after transplant You are just past the 3 month mark after a hair transplant and are starting to note new growth. Hair will initially start as fine, thin hair but over the next 4 to 6 months hair will become thicker and more coarse. At 12 months, you should see the final result.
