I had full body Lipo 6 weeks ago and a bbl. I'm noticing small marble size lumps. They are not visibly noticible but I can feel them. What can I do? I get massssges every other day. Is there a special type of masssge I should ask for? Any suggestions on there I can get treatment for them?
Answer: Liposuction After care includes RF treatments (Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra) Cellutone/zwave, hyperbaric oxygen, lymphatic massage Yes, I recommend lymphatic massages after liposuction. For liposuction after care, I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen along with lymphatic massage and your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Wear the compression garments Greetings Thank you for your query. There is a reason why compression garments are provided post liposuction surgery. You must wear them ports the procedure and religiously doing so will help you get an even body and good results. Continue wearing the compression garment and follow your surgeon’s instructions for the best results. Best of luck, Dr Mian Doshi, Mumbai, India

Answer: Lumps after liposuction Congratulations on your surgery. It can be common to feel some contour irregularities after liposuction. At this time, it could be related to just normal healing/swelling or early fat necrosis. I would just wait them out and they most likely will go away. Discuss with your surgeon as well on your next visit. Good luck on the rest of your recovery.

Answer: Small lumps after lipo Thank you for the question! It is rather difficult to fully evaluate your situation without an in-person exam. That being said, small lumps and other contour irregularities are not uncommon after liposuction. Typically, it takes 2-3 weeks for most bruising and postoperative discomfort to resolve, and additional 2-3 months for swelling to completely subside. Although some physicians recommend massaging these lumpy areas, their effectiveness can be disputed. I'd suggest that you give it time and let healing process complete naturally. If your swelling persists months after the procedure or you begin to experience increasing discomfort, you should notify your plastic surgeon. Remember that an in-person exam with a board-certified plastic surgeon would be the best way to assess your situation and guarantee an individualized medical advice. Best of luck!

Answer: Lumps after liposuction Hi and thank you for your question. The small lumps that you can feel may be areas of fat necrosis. The blood supply to your remaining fat cells can get disrupted during liposuction (especially high volume) and you can get small lumps that you can feel. These areas typically remodel after a few months of consistent massage. As well, I am assuming that you are in a garment for all the areas liposuctioned (including your BBL)? Compression therapy is important and I use compression for as long as I still see swelling, which is typically about 6 weeks but can be longer.Hope this helps!
