I've seen really tiny ones like on a Barbie, thin 'coin slot' ones, and ones that look like outies in photos. Do we get to choose, is this just done according to a doctor's aesthetic style, or does how we heal determine shape? I'd really like to have a normal, round innie belly button like I had before kids. Also, do doctor's put it in the same location if we want? Thanks!

Answer: Belly button Dear PSB00, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. You should discuss your surgery goals with your plastic surgeon prior to surgery. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Tummy tuck There are many ways to do the belly button and it seems each surgeon has their favorite. A recent study has shown that cutting it out and insettting it as a circle is best.
