Is muscle plication repair included in the cost of a full tummy tuck?

I have had 2 children and have extensive muscle plication. In one quote, I have a separate charge for muscle plication repair. I thought when you get a FULL tummy tuck that was included in the price, isn't the point of having a FULL TT to repair those muscles, so why am I getting a "add on" for that? Then in another quote I have a FULL tummy tuck but with no muscle plication "add on" price. So then I wonder if I went with this doctor, will he repair the plication? So confused.

I personally would not do this procedure. You may find someone willing. If so, they should at minimum have you see a cardiologist for clearance which would likely involve a stress test. They should then do your procedure in a hospital and have you stay overnight with appropriate monitoring. Best...

Thank you for your question. Typically some doctor's won't do liposuction across the abdomen during a tummy tuck because it can compromise the blood supply. Therefore we recommend coming back minimally 3 months after surgery to do some additional liposuction. I would suggest seeing a Board...
