Thank you for your question. Warm compresses for pain relief at 3 weeks post procedure are acceptable. That being said, use caution with heat or cold on any areas that are numb. Best of luck.
Hello,Thank you for your question. As others have stated, warm should be fine but hot is risky due to compromised sensation in the breast skin. I recommend that you ask your plastic surgeon what they feel is safe for you.All the best
Thanks much for reaching out. Warm compresses you should be fine to use as long as you make sure they are not too hot but they change the color of your skin. The worst thing you would want is a burn. I hope this helps :-)
You have to make sure the "hot" compress is not too hot to burn your skin and cause additional problems. I suggest you address these concerns with your plastic surgeon.Best wishes, Dr. ALDO
Thank you for your question. Absolutely, as long as you have full sensation in the areas you are using the compresses. Excessive heat combined with decreased sensibility in the breast can result in burns, so caution is advised.
Be careful, because patients have burned their skin with heated compresses. Check with your doctor to see if he is ok with this.
Warm compresses should be fine. However you do not want to use compresses that are hot enough to cause the skin to be pink or red. Of course you should clear this with your plastic surgeon and not rely on Internet advice.
Thank you for your question. Because you are early in recovery and the breast implants are high on your chest they look abnormally large at this point. As the implants drop into place underneath the nipple areola they will look much more natural and appear last full at the top.
I do not think taking Mucinex is a problem bu I am not doing your surgery. Please contact your surgeon for advice on this.
It might resolve as your implants drop and your tissues accommodate and stretch. If it is still present in 6 months it is unlikely that it will change further. Discuss your concerns with your surgeon.
