Is it possible to go from a B cup size to a C or D cup size with 240cc? (Photo)

Hello,Thank you for your question. Bra sizing is variable and relative to the band; if you are very tiny, your C or D will be small as well. Having said that, because your upper chest is swollen and implants are sitting high, you will likely see significant change over the next few months. Try to hold off until 6 months post op before evaluating your results. All the best

Postoperative bra size is difficult to predict. Typically, every 150cc to 175cc will provide one additional cup size. Sounds like you are in the right range of size to achieve a full C to small D cup size with that size implant if you started out as a full - B cup. You need to give the breast implants about 3-4 months to settle into their final position and size.I hope this helps.- Dr. Bryson Richards

In smaller women 175 cc may increase by one cup size.  So 350 cc would increase by 2 cup sizes.  250 or 260 cc would be somewhere in the middle.   At 10 days, swelling is probably a factor as well.  Smaller implants tend to drop faster than larger implants.  It is possible than an implant can continue to drop at 4 months following surgery. At present implant is at higher postion... will descend in month  time  and also reduces in size as  post operative oedema reduces. Most probably you will get full C or small D.

Congratulations on having undergone the breast augmentation procedure. Although online consultants will not be able to provide you with meaningful reassurance, it may be helpful for you to know that a significant percentage of patients at your stage of recovery will feel that they are too big or (more commonly) too small. I routinely ask my patients to wait at least 3-6 months before evaluating the end results of the breast augmentation surgery. This waiting time allows patients to (usually) physically and psychologically adapt to the new body image. 
From the physiological standpoint, it takes many months ( and even up to one year) to see the final results of surgery. factors such as swelling, tissue contraction, skin redraping, implant shifting etc. come into play. You may be pleasantly surprised wants to be "drop and fluff" phenomenon has occurred. You may also be happier once the swelling AROUND the breast implants dissipates and the implants' shape and projection become more visible. 
From the psychological standpoint, patients undergo an “adaptation period" during which time they get used to the changes that the surgical procedure I would send has brought about. Severe emotional swings can also occur after any type of surgical procedure.
In your case, I would suggest continued patience and continued close follow-up with your plastic surgeon.

It takes a good 6-12 months for the swelling to completely settle and the implants to drop into position. On average 150cc is one cup size increase. So with 240cc you are just under two cup size increase. If you have a small frame implants can seem larger than they are. You look great for 10 days post op. Happy recovery.

Thank you for your question.  Because you are early in recovery  and the breast implants are high on your chest they look abnormally large at this point.  As the implants drop into place underneath the nipple areola they will look much more natural and appear last full at the top.
