I got my breasts done 10 days ago and the doctor put in 240cc. I was originally a B but now I look like a C or small D. Will they get smaller? I am very small 28 inch waist. Maybe they just look big because I'm small.

Answer: C to D cup Postoperative bra size is difficult to predict. Typically, every 150cc to 175cc will provide one additional cup size. Sounds like you are in the right range of size to achieve a full C to small D cup size with that size implant if you started out as a full - B cup. Having said that, because your upper chest is swollen and implants are sitting high, you will likely see significant change over the next few months. Answer: Going From B to C of D With 240cc In smaller women 175 cc may increase by one cup size. So 350 cc would increase by 2 cup sizes. 250 or 260 cc would be somewhere in the middle. At 10 days, swelling is probably a factor as well. Smaller implants tend to drop faster than larger implants. It is possible than an implant can continue to drop at 4 months following surgery. Although online consultants will not be able to provide you with meaningful reassurance, it may be helpful for you to know that a significant percentage of patients at your stage of recovery will feel that they are too big or (more commonly) too small. I routinely ask my patients to wait at least 3-6 months before evaluating the end results of the breast augmentation surgery. This waiting time allows patients to (usually) physically and psychologically adapt to the new body image.
