I got 1 syringe of Volbella in my lips & a little in the hollows under my mouth. It looked great while swollen, but then ended up being invisible a week later. Way too subtle. I love the idea that this looks natural and lasts up to a year, so I wanted to get a second syringe. But does it actually last & have enough thickness, or is it better to use a different product? 1 syringe is $750 and only 0.6cc, so it's quite expensive for 2. Looking to continue this long term.
Answer: Volbella filler Thank you for your question. Volbella comes in prefilled syringes containing 0.55 mL of product - which is about half the volume (and price) of other filler products used in lips - such as Juvederm and Restylane Silk. In my practice, we charge $400.00 per syringe of Volbella. The biggest advantage to Volbella is that in clinical trials, it was found to effectively increase lip fullness and soften the appearance of lines around the mouth in a majority of subjects through one year.

Answer: How much Volbella will I need? Volbella is not very hydrophilic (absorbs water) and designed to address the fine lines around the mouth and tear troughs. It's not the ideal filler to address lip volume or marionettes. I recommend Juvederm Ultra XC and Juvederm Ultra Plus XC instead.

Answer: The Volbella Hype Volbella is a good filler, but it has been way overhyped by the marketing done by the company. It comes in a half a syringe and provides a very subtle result. In my opinion, it is no better than Restylane Silk. Most everyone will need 1cc of Volbella for adequate volumization. If you are looking for more volume then you would be better off with a filler like Juvederm or Restylane. Remember, it's not so much the choice of filler but the skill of the person doing the injecting. Choose your injector wisely. Best wishes.

Answer: Volbella amount for lips and marionette? No improvement at 1 syringe. Thank you for sharing your question and I am sorry that your results were not what you anticipated. If you are looking to achieve a significant increase in lip volume or pout, a thicker filler such as Juvederm Ultra Plus is a better option than Volbella. Volbella will only lead to a modest increase in lip volume but is a good option for achieving lip definition as well as treating wrinkles around the mouth. Hope this helps.

Answer: Improving marionette lines & lips Volbella is best for smoothing out the lips (making you look as if you are wearing permanent lip gloss) and filling in fine lines and wrinkles. It may be that you need a filler with a bit more "pow".
