Does Volbella migrate to lips if you only want lines above lip done? (photo)

I am 53 years old and hate the lines above my lips. I go to a Plastic Surgeon who does my Botox and while I was getting a Chemical Peel done in his office his nurse told me about Volbella XC as a possible solution to those lines. My biggest question is about migration. I absolutely do not want any in my lips. My husband doesnt mind me doing the fillers but doesnt want my lips to change at all. They are already quite full also. Looking at my picture, why would be your advice.

I have not had a patient with an allergic reaction to Volbella. However, the lidocaine that is the part of the injection that numbs the area is another story. If you find that you feel better after the benedryl and steroids then no, I don't think that you need to dissolve the filler. I am so...
In general, Volbella will last about a year. However, every patient's body reacts differently so it may last longer or shorter. If you've had other Juvéderm products that should give you a clue as to how your body processes these types of filler.
Great question, Vobella is used to fill in fine lines around the mouth. It doesn't really provide considerable volume in the lip or the surrounding area. If it is volume you are seeking, or pushing up the corner of the lip, I would likely recommend Juvederm Ultra or Juvederm UltraPlus. Best of luck!
