Plastic surgeons I've met for revision consultations have agreed that I should use Natrelle Inspira Cohesive Silicone under muscle SRX (Ultra High Profile). Trying to decide between 650cc or 700cc. Prior to the Mentor 350cc Moderate Plus Profile I have now, placed 10 years ago, I originally had a super flat chest...just nipples (32AA)! I did, however weigh a lot less than I do now, which is about 115-118 pounds. I wear a 32DD now (V.Secret).
Answer: Implant size 50 cc will not make a big difference if you are going as large as 650 or 700. That only works out to about 7% difference of that total volume, so do not agonized over it. My concern is more that 700 cc is a very large implant which will certainly cause consequences on your soft tissues as you age. Not to mention the additional weight on your neck shoulders and back. Shoes your surgeon wisely and don't be too eager to go too big. Everything comesa at Price. Best of luck! Dr. SubbioBoard-Certified Plastic SurgeonNewtown Square/Philadelphia, PA

Answer: Revision 50cc will not make much of a difference. I recommend an in-office examination as well as a detailed discussion with a surgeon who you are comfortable with. Finally, make sure your surgeon is a Double-Board Certified Plastic Surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS), a member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).Best,Dr. DesaiBeverly Hills Institute for Aesthetic Plastic SurgeryHarvard Educated, Beverly Hills & Miami Beach TrainedDouble Board-Certified Beverly Hills Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Best breast implants for me (revisionary breast surgery)? Thank you for the question. Keep in mind as you are thinking about your goals that sometimes adjustment of the breast implant pockets (capsule adjustments) may be necessary to achieve the outcome you are looking for. Online consultants will not be able to help you select between the two sizes you are considering; in my practice, this is most often a intraoperative decision made based on visualization with temporary sizers, careful measurements (dimensional planning) and after careful consideration of the patient's goals. Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering revisionary breast augmentation surgery is: 1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work. 2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. I have found that the use of words such as “natural or fake look” or "up a cup size” or "D or DD cup" etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. 3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your chosen plastic surgeon to work with you in determining the best plan to achieve your goals. I hope this helps. Best wishes.
