Healthy, active 24 year old with no kids (160lb, 5'4). My boobs have always had sagging and asymmetry since puberty, I was hoping to magically grow out of it somehow but nothing changed. What do you suggest to correct it? Do I need a lift with implants, or could I get an implant large enough to correct the ptosis? Is there any way insurance would cover part of it? I am an avid gym-goer and do powerlifting/bodybuilding. How will surgery impact my bench press/upper body exercises?

Answer: Asymmetric breasts Based on the photographs you do have asymmetry in both breast volume and degree of ptosis ( nipple areolar position). In the views provided, the right breast appears to have a slightly constricted lower pole. In my opinion you would do well with a breast lift and implants ( either using slightly different sized implants or similar implants with a small reduction on the left). If you are more concerned about symmetry and less about a very noticeable volume increase, then you may want to consider a breast lift with fat grafting. An implant alone is unlikely to correct the ptosis. How a breast implant affects the ability to exercise depends on the individual and whether the implant is sub glandular or sub pectoral in location. I hope this helps.

Answer: Both are options Thank you for the photos. Most people in this situation would want a lift with implants, with a larger implant on the smaller side. Your lift is "borderline" meaning you don't NEED one, but the shape of the breast would be improved with one. If you have a surgeon near you with Vectra imaging, you can "try on" different size implants (we do this all the time) to arrive at the right recipe for how many CCs in each breast to get you more symmetry.

Answer: How do I fix my asymmetrical, sagging boobs? It appears a breast lift would be suggested to improve the sagging. For symmetry you can either have tissue removed from the larger breast at the time of the lift, or you can add different size implants. The implants should not significantly affect your upper body exercises.
