30 years old, fair, 5’ 7”, 125 lbs, small 34A. Are voluptuous results possible for someone with a chest like mine? I have so little breast tissue, and it’s spread so far out, that I worry any implant will look overly round even going under the muscle. My chest and shoulders are also more broad than a lot of the before and after shots that catch my eye, so I’m afraid my goal is just not possible for someone with my physique. Could you offer any insight into my options and how close I can get?
Answer: Implant size Dear LHG1993, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals. Answer: Absolutely Thank you for the photo. You're right, that with less breast tissue, we are counting on the implant to do most of the work of reshaping the breast. There are many implant styles now. If you see a surgeon who has Vectra imaging in the office, we can model how different implants will look on your body. Many women choose implants to give them a more feminine, voluptuous shape.

Answer: Insight I would go see a board certified plastic surgeon (American Board of Plastic Surgery) with preoperative 3D simulation capabilities (Vectra, Crisalix, etc) to be able to show you the outcome.

Answer: Photos Thanks for your question! This is a tricky one to answer based on the photo you provided. I would love to see a picture straight on and perhaps some wish pics. Keep in mind that a lot of women with very large breast implants didn't get there with one surgery. Good luck!
