A little over 1yr ago I had a breast lift with implants (255cc mentor silicone under the muscle)I noticed around my one year mark some rippling, I spoke with my surgeon and he advised it was normal due to the fact of how skinny I am (approx 95lbs) & due to having such thin skin. So I've recently been thinking I want to up my size to around 300cc due to still having some sagging & low breast cleavage on top but would this rippling get worse due to my thin & larger implant?
Answer: Size Going with larger implants will stretch your thin skin even more and probably show more rippling. it would be better to go down in size and use some Alloderm or other graft products to help cover the implant and minimize rippling.

Answer: Revision surgery Dear ElisabethM95, breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals. Answer: Petite, 95lb. Would rippling get worse if I get a larger implant? (photos) There is a good chance that you will end up seeing rippling again going forward due to your petite nature. There are differences in the crosslinking (but may feel more firm) of the implants that my help you limit the amount of rippling and this can be discussed with your surgeon. I recommend you work with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.

Answer: Texture and type of implant affect look You might want to consider having a fuller implant (nano textured full motiva) that might give you a better contouring and less rippling. It will always be a risk though
