Based on the photos, I would say that you are not droopy. If you are wanting more volume, I think you could achieve a nice result with an augmentation without a lift. Good luck!
Hello,Thank you for your question and photos. You appear to have some breast drooping and lowered nipple position but good breast volume. If you are interested in repositioning the areolas higher on the breast mound I recommend that you book and in-person consultation with a board certified Plastic Surgeon. They will examine you and discuss your aesthetic goals, then make recommendations. All the best
Thank you for your question. Age, significant weight fluctuation, and having children considerably affect skin laxity and breast structure causing your breasts to sag. Based on your photos you appear to have regular ptosis. This question is best answered during your consultation. Augmentation alone will allow for some lift. However if your surgeon does decide you will benefit from a nipple lift she can easily do that during your surgery. I'd suggest you go with a board certified plastic surgeon with expertise in this area. Best of luck!
Thank you for your question. Weight loss/gain, normal aging, pregnancy and breastfeeding are all factors that can affect breast sag or ptosis. Should you desire a perkier, rounder shaped breast, you may want to consider a breast lift. My advice is to seek a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to determine if you would in fact benefit from a breast lift. Best of luck.
Hi there, Thank you for your question. It appears as though your left breast is ok, your right breast may hang slightly lower. Speak with a board certified plastic surgeon regarding your concerns. Best, realdrsix
Hi Ronwe, Please put an index card in your breast fold. If your nipple is at the edge of the card or below, then you would be a candidate for a lift, either a vertical or anchor or areolar incision. If your nipple is above the edge, you could be a candidate for an internal lift called the dual plane. The video below explains the dual plane internal lift. I also attached an article from a peer-reviewed journal to give you an even better idea. I believe the dual plane and implants alone will do it for you, and that you will not need a lift. Be sure to seek a consultation with a BC PS to be sure.Be sure to check out on the website reference below the video answers to “The Top 10 Breast Augmentation Questions”. All the best, “Dr. Joe”
Thank you for your pictures and questions. I have provided you a link with an image that defines the degree of ptosis in breasts. An exam would be helpful, but from the pictures you have provided, it appears that your nipple is right around the level of the IMF which would mean that you have some mild, or grade I, ptosis. This does seem minor and if you are considering breast surgery, you may be able to avoid a lift depending on your goals and expectations.Hope this helps!
Your breast do show evidence of skin laxity and would be candidates for a breast lifting procedure with dual plane augmentation. Seek Board certified plastic surgeon in your region
Hello 'ronwe', thanks for your question and photos. Based on the classic description, yes, you appear to exhibit grade 2 ptosis, which is a milder level of breast sagging. This is characterized by the nipples sagging below the inframammary fold but still not yet pointing down at the lowest point of breast curvature. Breast ptosis is a common phenomenon in women, which may be caused by menopause with involution of the normal mammary ductal structure, lost breast volume after pregnancy or significant weight loss as in your case, or simply with the cumulative effects of gravity and aging with thinning and stretching of the dermal and ligamentous support system. If this droop is something that bothers you, then it can be addressed with a breast lift procedure (mastopexy) and/or a breast augmentation that can provide a mild lifting benefit while augmenting the breast volume with the implant. Feel free to contact my office for a consultation if you would like to discuss your options further. Good luck!-Dr.Go
Yes, you do have a mild degree of ptosis. Deflation of your breasts has occurred as fat was lost in the course of your weight loss. This can be corrected by means of an uplift if you are so inclined. Please see a plastic surgeon for details.
Hi fiercesthunter, It's great that you want to know more about the process before getting started! After an initial consult, we tend to book a surgery within a month or so depending on our OR schedule and the patient's schedule. We then have a pre-Op appointment two weeks prior to the surgery to...
Dr. Davidson is correct. This sudden pain is most likely due to overuse of a surgically injured muscle. However your right (not drained) breast is obviously larger. The question is why? If your breasts were close to the same before surgery and the implants are of the same volume, this sho...
For this question - definitely check back in with your surgeon. Most hematomas resolve within 2 months - but scar tissue can remain or even form. I generally recommend massaging scar tissue - firmly, 5 minutes twice a day - if this is what it is. But definitely get it checked out to make su...
