I developed a small hematoma 4-5 days PO right underneath my areola. 2 months PO I can still see a faint bruise and the area underneath has hardened. It feels about the size of a cherry. It seems this is most likely due to scar tissue? It has also caused my breast to have a slightly different appearance like it didn't "drop" as well as the other one. Will this scar tissue left behind lessen over time or go away? Or will the lump stay unless removed? What are the treatment options for this ?
