Is it normal to have a sore chest muscle even years after surgery?

Hello @Ep138001 thank you for your question. Is not normal to experience chest muscle pain after surgery. The first thing I suggest is you consult with your specialist. A message or a phone call to tell him or her what happened and how you are feeling is best, because if something is wrong or the specialist detect something that is happening it can be controlled quickly in an early diagnosis. Remember that the relationship with the specialist is fundamental for that you trusted your life to him. Best wishes!

This is not a common complaint. You may want to take NSAID's like Aleve daily around these episodes to break the cycle. Warm compresses too.
You should circle back to your surgeon. It would be helpful to run your symptoms by her/him and undergo an exam to see if there might be something she/he can identify to help.

You may have some capsule that is pulling on your muscles, especially in certain positions. Ultrasound might be helpful or going with smaller implants.

Pain after breast implants may stay for some years, especially when under the muscle. Nonsteroid analgesic drugs and creams will help to reduce the pain in time. We wish you a healthy day.

It is not common to experience muscle soreness years after surgery for no obvious reason. I encourage you to return to your surgeon for an evaluation to determine what may be causing your discomfort.

Hello and thanks for your question. You should be fully recovered by now. Pain and soreness after the recovery period is not expected. I strongly suggest you to have a consultation to check your implants and the breast tissue.
