How will a sternum tattoo be affected by a mastopexy/breast lift? (Photo)

Hi there, I am considering getting a sternum (under breast) tattoo (see attached picture for example), but I have fairly generous breasts (10E or 12DD). I am not happy with the natural shape of my breasts as I feel they sag and one day hope to get a breast lift. If I decide to get a sternum tattoo similar to the example photo, will the design be distorted by a mastopexy?

Based on the above photograph the sternal tattoo should not be distorted by a breast lift procedure.  However, You will need to discuss your concerns and expected results with your board certified plastic surgeon.

Honestly, impossible to say for sure. Too many "what ifs". My best advise would be to schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon in your area who can assess your breasts in person and then discuss where you could get the tattoo without it later being distorted if you decide to have breast lift surgery. My best,

I am assuming that the picture you have sent is not a picture of yourself. With respect to the picture you have, a mastopexy should not affect that particular tattoo. However it may be different on your body with your breasts. You need to have this conversation with yourplastic surgeon so that he or she can examine you into town.
