I have silicon implants done about 2 years ago, bubble formed almost immediately after procedure on my left breast. AI have Mentor 475cc. I don’t like profile look, too perky, and they do not cover fully my wide chest. I’d like less profile for more natural look, and more chest coverage with a cleavage when wearing bra. I could go to about 550cc. What safe Implant brand and profile should I choose that will not create any ripples, air bubbles or other issues? Thank you
Answer: Implants Since you now have bottoming out from the weight of your implants, you should not go larger, but smaller. You can go down in profile for a wider base. Going larger will give more perk and in your face look and be heavier. Gel implants have less ripples.

Answer: Implant exchange You can elect to have an implant exchange at any time to get you closer to the look you are wanting. Rippling, double bubble, etc are risks with all implants and there is no way to completely eliminate the risk but we can try to minimize the risk. You will want to select an implant that correctly fits the breast space. That is where your board certified plastic surgeon is your personal expert. I have included a video on breast augmentation and implant selection that I hope you find helpful.

Answer: Implant type Dear Lisa Wu, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals. Answer: Breast implant exchange hello Lisa, thank you for your question and posting appropriate pictures. You are a good candidate for breast, implant exchange with adjustment of your pocket and using larger moderate profile implant for the look, you want. It is best to have a virtual or in person consultation to discuss options.
