I felt very comfortable with Dr. Mancoll! He explained my procedure and what to expect. Very professional. I highly recommend him and his staff which are very friendly. I’m plaining on having another procedure soon. I am so very happy with my Breast implants! Thank you so much Dr. Mancoll
From the start of my journey with Dr. Mancoll and his wonderful nurses to date so far have been nothing short of amazing! I am so incredibly pleased with my results. He truly has given me my self-confidence back. The shear thoroughness, care, and attention he provides throughout the entire process is astonishing. During reviews you want to see all the good and the bad to be able to make a confident and informed decision on who to have perform your procedures, however I just have nothing bad to say at all. If you choose Dr. Mancoll for your procedure you will absolutely not be disappointed! If I ever have anything I want done in the future I will definitely be back!
I began my journey with a mommy makeover with a doctor in Miami. I thought that was the most cost effective option and I knew someone who went to the doctor that was very pleased with their results. Well unfortunately that wasn't my story. I developed an infection, sepsis and nearly died! I ended up in the hospital for 13 days and had to be opened up again which left me with less than favorable outcomes. Thinking I would never try surgery again, I met Dr Mancoll and he changed my mind! Dr Mancoll spent a considerable amount of time with me during my initial consultation. He was very thorough in explaining what happened to me previously and how he could avoid those pitfalls and how he could revise my surgery and provide better outcomes. Dr Mancoll is an artist at heart and he envisions how you should look and he gives it 100+% to help you achieve your goals! He devised a plan to first address the revisions for the top half of my body. I was super unhappy with my back fat, fat on the sides of my breast (bra roll) and the bat wings on my arms where I could fly away! Dr Mancoll said in one surgical setting I can address all your problem areas, and he did just that!!! Throughout my entire recovery process, he was just a phone call or office visit away, both day/night, weekends you name it! Each time, he was patient, and spent as much time as I needed to assure me that I would not experience any negative effects from the surgery. There were minor issues during recovery but he quickly responded and addressed them all! Even after full recovery, Dr Mancoll remained available to assist me with scar treatments because I am predisposed to hypertrophic scars. I am super elated with my results and Dr Mancoll is the Man!!! His hands are blessed- my surgical lines are amazing! Many areas you cannot see where I was stitched at all! His bedside manners are impeccable and the staff is the sweetest! Look no further for the best cosmetic surgeon in VA!
I had a wonderful experience with Dr Mancoll and his amazing staff. I had a breast lift and augmentation in May 2023 and it went just as expected and I love my results. The team was very thorough and I always felt like they were taking great care of me. Dr Mancoll quickly returned all my calls when I had questions and was very kind and respectful with great bedside manner. Couldn’t be happier with my results and will always recommend them.
I did a lot of researching before deciding on a surgeon. Personal reviews definitely helped, so I wanted to help others with mine. Before going for my initial consultation with Dr. Mancoll, I had already visited 2 other surgeons for consultations on a breast reduction/lift. The first two surgeons were referrals from Tricare, but after discovering Tricare would not cover the cost of a breast reduction, I decided I wanted to do my research and find someone that would also perform an abdominoplasty to fix my severe diastasis recti after children. I have so many good things to say about Dr. Mancoll and his entire team. My first two consultations with the other surgeons felt cold and impersonal. Basically, they just showed me a video of the process and took some measurements. The consultation with Dr. Mancoll is very thorough. His team took several “before” pictures of me for Dr. Mancoll to review. Then when I met with him, he walked me through the entire process step by step and answered all of my questions. It was a long appointment – and I appreciated that! I did not feel rushed at all, like you would at a typical doctor’s appointment. We looked at my pictures and discussed desired results. It was very tailored to me personally, and not just another surgery he was performing. Two weeks before surgery I had my pre-op appointment. This was extensive – I was informed about the surgery again, instructed on medications, vitals were taken, all the things necessary for review to ensure the best results during surgery. I was very nervous for surgery and they could tell. There’s just something different about an elective surgery v. necessary surgery. The entire team did a great job of answering all my questions and helping me prepare. Day of surgery – I was terrified! All of the nurses were so empathetic. It was wonderful, it made me feel less nervous. The anesthesiologist walked me through everything and really helped calm me. Then Dr. Mancoll came in to discuss the surgery again, and what to expect & do post-OP. I felt very prepared. Two days after surgery (and on a Sunday), Dr. Mancoll called me to see how I was feeling. He reviewed pictures I uploaded to the app so he could make sure everything was looking okay. It wasn’t at all like they completed the surgery and just forgot about me. He was very available and invested in my successful recovery as I was. I am now six weeks post-OP and I feel great. I am extremely happy with my results so far and can’t wait to see/feel how I will be in six months. Thank you to Dr. Mancoll and your entire team for such a great experience.
I originally came to Dr. Mancoll's office for consult on pursuing a breast augmentation. Dr. Mancoll listened to my desires, and, together, we came up with a plan that included the Mommy Makeover with tummy tuck, liposuction, and breast augmentation. I could not be more pleased with the results! Throughout the entire process, Dr. Mancoll and his team were extremely professional, responsive, and intuitive. It was truly a life changing experience that I would recommend to others. Not only was the experience in his clinic positive, he is clearly a very talented and experienced surgeon that will obtain the look you want.
Dr. Mancoll is a kind, attentive, and talented Surgeon who has this calm about him. Dr. Mancoll deserves more than 5 stars and so do his entire staff! I can’t say enough about the facility, staff, surgical coordinator, nurses, the surgical team and “ESPECIALLY THE AMAZING DR. JOHM MANCOLL”. Dr. Mancoll’s new state of the art facility is beyond impressive and filled with the kindest staff. Their professional demeanor equals that of Dr. John Mancoll’s. I will focus my review on Dr. Mancoll as I know most people want a review of the doctor but I felt it necessary to share my entire facility experience! For context, I have interviewed a few dozen surgeons for plastic surgery. I just couldn’t find the right one. I have met with and researched doctors who reside out of country, Tampa and Miami and Florida (where I live) North Carolina in Virginia (where my daughter lives) in search of the right doctor. I was looking for a doctor who would “listen to and focus on my specific needs”. I find that the doctors who do not listen to the patient’s wishes and desired outcomes are the cookie cutter doctors and do what they can handle in the surgical room. For context: I am 5’4 and 160lbs, size 34H for some context. I was looking for a revision to my previous thigh lipo (I had a pocket of swollen tissue the size of a grapefruit form with scar tissue making a huge pocket), a revision to stomach lipo (previously done wrong by a doctor who claimed he specialized in lipo 360 and bbl) , a huge breast reduction to a C cup from H and a tummy tuck. I’m currently on Day 1 of my surgery recovery (keep in mind..I am still swollen) and just by the looks ….Dr. Miracle ( as I will now call him) has eliminated my massive side boob and removed exactly the amount I asked for. where my arms would always hit. These boobs have caused decades of excruciating pain on my back and I always had inches of boob hanging/laying on my stomach. Dr. Mancoll reduced my boobs to the “EXACT SIZE” I requested. I’m so impressed with his work, his bedside manner as a doctor and so very grateful for his years of experience. I was so nervous going into this procedure because of all the other cookie cutter doctors interviewed were telling me it could not be done, including a Harvard Doctor in North Carolina, who refused to even do surgery on me. I found in my search most doctors had a terrible staff, bed-side-manners and only wanted to do simple surgical procedures making them junk cookie-cutter-doctors. Cookie-cutter-doctors tend to not care about patient desired outcome with no consideration for the patients vision. Dr. Mancoll is the complete opposite! Dr. Mancoll requested pictures of breasts I like on other people to replicate the look I was going for! I just can’t say enough about my experience with Dr. Mancoll and his entire staff! After my surgery he even helped me into my car with Nurse Kimberly (the amazing nurse who put up with me in recovery). Dr. Mancoll is a kind, attentive, and extremely talented Surgeon who has this calm peace about him. Dr. Mancoll deserves more than 5 stars, as does his entire staff!
Dr. Mancoll and his staff are magic makers. I had some body defects in my breast and honestly they looked jacked. I had lost 80lbs and felt defeated bc no matter how much weight I lost, I couldn’t seem to be happy in my skin. I had a tummy tuck, arm lift, breast lift and augmentation. I trusted Dr. Mancoll from the moment I met him and he never disappointed. My body did have some set backs but he always left me hopeful. I am amazed and incredibly happy with my results. I would walk around naked if it weren’t illegal, I’m so proud of it! Also, Dr. Mancoll nursing staff made me feel like family! They make you feel so comfortable. When someone is pointing out your flaws but in a professional way that makes you feel good and can show you what your results will look like and it happens, you have found the perfect plastic surgeon! I recommend Mancoll and his team! I don’t feel shallow for getting plastic surgery, I finally feel like myself and that’s exceptional! Thank you!
Super excited to get the work done! July 19th can't come soon enough. He's super nice and comes highly recommended not only by RS but a friend of mine who used him as well for her surgery. His new office is immaculate....my current stats are the following. 5'2 154...previous plastic surgeries are my breast Augmentation by Dr. Joanna Lopes Virginia Beach 2006....Tummy by the late amazing Dr. Cochran Columbus Georgia 2015. The procedures I am having done by Dr.Mancoll are lipo 360 and my neck and arms as well the. a fat transfer to my buttocks. I'm also considering adding fat transfer to the lips as well once I go to my pre op but I'm pretty sure he doesn't do anything involving the face anymore. Nonetheless I am so excited to have. Cutie bootie be be a Mancoll Doll y'all. Updated on 26 Jun 2022: Finally did it. June 24. Extremely painful but well worth it. He's a very talented surgeon with wonderful bedside manners. I plan to use him for my breast explant and lift next year. I highly recommend himZ
As a physician,/surgeon myself, I can honestly say that Dr. Mancoll is a highly skilled surgeon and artist. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had bilateral mastectomy with reconstructive surgery with another surgeon in the area which was botched with several complications and a poor result requiring several reconstruction surgeries. I came to Dr. Mancoll for a second opinion and, in hindsight, I wished I had seen him in the first place for my reconstruction! My professional and personal opinion is that his professionalism, kindness, patience, and dedication to high quality work, are unmatched in the Tidewater area. Thankfully, I underwent my final breast reconstruction surgeries with him including implant removals and bilateral DIEP procedures (which i probably should have had to begin with). I am almost 5 years out from my CA diagnosis now and, i can now say my reconstruction is completed and my nightmare is finally over. The final results of my reconstruction with him are better than i could have ever imagined. I will forever be indebted to this phenomenal doc who took care of me like i was his family. Very very highly recommend him.
Thank you for question. You have what looks like pretty good quality skin. The bigger an implant you put in the less natural it’s going to look. A 300cc implant certainly could fit your body quite nicely, but I don’t know that you’ll have as natural abreast as someone who has a little more laxity to their skin. But please keep in mind that natural look is a very subjective description and may mean different things to you than it does to me. You can also maintain that same breast width and go with an Implant with more projection if you want a little more size. It may give you more of an augmented look than a natural luck. In my practice, I have the Vectra. 3-D imaging system and we can try different size and shape implants on which can give you a pretty accurate assessment of what your postop look might be. This has been a very helpful tool for patients as they’ve moved forward towards the breast augmentation surgery. Good luck with your breast surgery journey.
Thank you for your question. Keep in mind a full tummy tuck allows your surgeon to address all the layers of the abdominal wall. While your weight looks like it’s in a good range you do have some of the characteristics of skin laxity that include a hooding of your belly button, some of the wrinkly that I can see around your waist line, which I believe most likely also represents a certain degree of pubic area droopiness. It’s hard to tell if you have a Daya stasis, but that is a critical component of what should be repaired during a tummy tuck. I have a number of patients that I was first look look quite thin but then when you look at their before, and after she can really appreciate how much skin was removed and how much more athletic there abdominal wall now looks. You can look under some of my realself posted photos and see what I’m talking about. Good luck on your body contouring journey. I think you should be able to get an outstanding result. you can look under some of my real self posted photos and see what I’m talking about. Good luck on your body contouring journey. Thank you for your question. To really be able to answer your question thoroughly I would ask you what your ultimate goals are after surgery. In my practice, I like to have patient show me pictures of their ideal breast, and then based on the results of that would dictate what I would recommend. Looking at your pictures that you’ve posted it looks like your nipples are sitting low to me and a breast lift of some type might offer a significant improvement of our breast shape, and contour. In general, I think you have a good result for what was done but it does seem like your breast tissue swallowed up that 415 cc implant and your overall body size and width could certainly handle more implant depending on the kind of luck you’re looking for. Thank you for your question. The lumpy bumpy of your abdomen most likely is the result of internal scarring. It’s probably made a little bit worse in your case simply by the fact that you are so thin and you don’t have a whole lot of a fatty blanket to hide this irregularities. One of the things that can be done is to go back into surgery and simply do an equalization technique. With the help of a basket cannula that might allow for freeing up and stretching of the internal scar tissue and then hopefully it would be a smoother. Frequently, in cases like this, if I can also add some fat and a fat grafting technique once you freed up the space and scar tissue, then put the fat in to hopefully allow it to heal in a smoother way. I would tell most people that I could get about a 50% improvement from where you are right now with this technique. Another option might be to just go back and redo the tummy tuck. The downside of that would include a little longer recovery. The stiffness and lack of excess skin in the abdominal wall. At this point in your life, probably would not allow for a lot of skin removal, and as a result, the defect where the belly button is, will most likely have to be close is an up-and-down scar along the midline of your lower abdomen. It’s also very possible the tissues are stiff enough that it’s not gonna move much at all, in which case you could just do a float technique of the belly button, and then simply open it up to release the scar tissue, put a little bit tighter and then re-close. I would discuss all of these options with you if you are in my office considering surgery. Good luck on your body contouring journey.
Thank you for your question. Even though you may have plans to get pregnant down, the road, liposuction is an option. Life360 can be done to help improve contour of your Admin waist, upper and lower back. I might also suggest using some of that fat to fill in the flat spots on the sides of your hip any of the buttock area. Well pregnancy may ultimately cause your body to gain weight and some areas. The general shape created by liposuction will be preserved and then if you’re done having kids, a tummy tuck would be a nice way to restore the shape and contour of your abdomen. Good luck on your body contouring journey.
