Hi I have had a few treatments to bring back the volume in my face after losing weight . I have had 3 sculptra 1 prp and 4 pdo threads this is where I am now . What does anyone suggest ?
Answer: Need to come in to consult For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in-person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Facial restoration after weight loss Your photo looks beautiful. Can you please explain or circle on the photo what exactly you are not happy with? What do YOU see when you look at your photo? How long ago these treatment were performed? Where were the PDO threads placed? What type of Threads were used: Smooth or Barbed ? You need to discuss with your treating doctor what your concerns are after all these treatments were performed, listen to their recommendations and decide together what to start with. Based on the photo only, In my opinion these would be your options:1. add dermal fillers around eyes/ outer corners 2.add more sculptra to mid face 3.possibly a little chin or jawline filler. Hard to tell without any side profile photos. Have a beautiful day Best. Dr.Anna Avaliani, NYC

Answer: HA Volumizing Fillers Work Well For Restoring Facial Volume & Recontouring The Face Really sorry that so much time and money have been spent. I have been cautioning my regular followers for years that PRP for aesthetics lacks the hard science to back up the social media claims for its use. I have also cautioned them that the results of threads (which at best are for sagging and not for volume deficit treatment and have an unusually rate of adverse reactions) do not last much longer than those obtained by fillers. And, finally, I gave up using Sculptra over eight eight years ago, since it is expensive and usually requires about three treatment sessions to realize any benefits. In experienced hands, a robust HA volumizing filler can revolumize the upper outer cheeks to contour a more ideal, feminine heart-shaped, oval face. What's more, the results are immediate, i.e. seen right after treatment. No waiting, no promises of future results, as with Sculptra or PRP. You would be wise to consult an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist injector, and best of luck.

Answer: Restylane for Under Eyes Hello Krys. You are doing excellent! You do not appear volume deficient in most areas. The one improvement we would suggest is to have a bit of filler under the eyes (see link for photos). Restylane is our preferred dermal filler for this area and the idea is to place the product under the darker and slightly hollow areas under the eyes to create a more rested appearance. Best of luck.

Answer: Sculptra after weight loss Sculptra was actually created for original use in HIV/AIDS patients to alleviate the signs of facial wasting that made these patients look emaciated. Sculptra is successful in restore the natural type 1 collagen that gives us plump, hydrated, youthful looking skin. While it is not a dermal filler, Sculptra is very good at improving the appearance of volume loss and skin laxity in the face after weight loss. It gives a beautiful, global improvement of the skin that has been coined as the "Sculptra Glow." It is definitely one of my favorite treatments (I have it myself) and the best part is, it lasts at least two years, sometimes longer! It is a long game treatment to restore the firmness and volume in your face over the course of about 6 months....so no one will know what you did....they will just know you look better!
