Hello, I had my primary back in 2011 which completely ruined my nose as the doctor thought that the best idea to make my nose smaller was to completely remove my frontal tip cartilage (I kid you not). I found this out4 years later when getting a revision done in Texas. I am not very satisfied with the results of the revision so I am trying to find a skilled surgeon who will lengthen my short nose. I am considering Dr. Grigoryants and Dr. Frankel- any advice on my situation and doctor? Thank you!
Answer: Noses can be lengthened in revision rhinoplasty Tertiary revision rhinoplasty is frequently about restoring shape, strength and function to the nose. We use strong grafts. The source really depends on a personal examination. For extreme lengthening and restoring a "removed" tip, you will likely require rib cartilage grafts. These can look natural and create a stronger more natural appearing nose.

CONTACT NOW Answer: Revision rhinoplasty Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, this is very fixable. It is possible to perform a columellar strut graft with either septal/ear cartilage or rib cartilage. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. Reish, M.D.Harvard-trained plastic surgeon

Answer: Revision Rhinoplasty Revision rhinoplasty brings with it some of the most complex issues in cosmetic plastic surgery. The nose, being in the middle of the face, is certainly a focal point, and a one-millimeter change can make the difference between a good result and a great result. My best advice is to do your research fully. Find a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in revision rhinoplasty and has years of experience. Read his/her reviews, look at before-and-afters, and ask many questions.

Answer: Revision Rhinoplasty Dear Lipez88,thanks for sharing your pictures. Technically is doable to over rotate your nose, but I think by reducing the slope by means of a cartilage graft ( initially normal saline for demo purposes) may only thing to be needed !!best wishesj Tahery Otolaryngologist / Facial plastic surgeon chesterUK
