I'm 6 days post op revision rhinoplasty. I have a bruised area on the bridge of my nose which is red/purple. It looks different from the bruising under my eyes which is fading. My doctor said it could be irritation from the tape. I can tell it's bruising below the skin because of the dark purplish discoloration. I've never seen bruises on the bridge post op. I had cartilage spreader grafts inserted during the revision. Is bruising on the bridge of the nose an indication of something wrong?
