I have just had a fat transfer to my cheeks and nasolabial folds. Nevertheless, I am not satisfied with the results, as I think the sagging problem was not solved. Can I have Sculptra or other filler injected into the same areas (and others, such as the jaw and chin)?

Answer: Sculptra After Fat Transfer So long as it's warranted, Sculptra after fat transfer should not be a problem. The most important thing to consider is time between the fat transfer and the Sculptra. You need to give your body time to heal and allow the swelling to fully subside so you have an accurate picture of the final result before adding to what has been done. I don't know when your fat transfer was but I would give it at least a month before doing anything else.

Answer: Sculptra and fat transfer Sculptra and fat transfers can compliment each other but timing is the question. Factors that influence timing are post fat transfer swelling and bruising, skin laxity, and massage (required after Sculptra injection). If skin laxity is the issue sculptra and fat transfer may not achieve your goals. In my practice I will combine fat transfer with a facelift/necklift. Many patients express the same concerns you have meaning skin laxity and volume loss. A combination problem requires a combination treatment. If skin laxity is mild laser treatments can help with skin laxity such as laser genesis. Thank you for your question.
