Dr. Harrison Putman did an amazing job repairing a sports related badly broken nose! He didn't just fix to original, he actually gave me a much younger looking nose that I was extremely happy with! I highly recommend dr putman to anyone who wants and amazing job done by a professional with over 35 years experience!
My experience with Dr. Putman surpassed expectations in 2014. I was 41 y/o woman unhappy with a bulbous nose tip. I extensively researched rhinoplasty as well as qualified, certified surgeons. Dr. Putman’s combined experience, as well as before and after photos made the decision easy for me. I traveled a great distance, in fact, for Dr. Putman to perform my procedure. The result has been astonishing. I had a general idea of what I might look like with a “nice” nose, but my new nose exceeds nice. It’s perfect for me. The size, shape, and contours; my new nose is natural and aesthetically pleasing when you look at my face from every angle. And I have! Dr. Putman took the time to explain some of the steps that go into contouring a female nose, but not in so much detail that I felt overwhelmed or nervous. Dr. Putman and I agreed I wanted to look like myself, just an improved version of myself. That was achieved. I healed quickly and completely. The decision to move forward with rhinoplasty did not come easy for me. Dr. Putman was instrumental in making this difficult decision one of the best decisions I’ve made in my adult life. I look great. I would recommend Dr. Putman without reservation.
I just wanted to look the way I feel again. I have always taken care of myself and I just did not like the way I was aging around my eyes and my neck. I was so happy I did it this. I feel so much better about the way I look and I am taking really good care of my skin and using good products as they recommended. I am not vain but I do want to look the best I can. My health is good so why not. Dr. Putman was excellent. He suggested just what he felt would help me look but but did not try to convince me to do something I did not need. He was very reassuring and wanted me to be totally pleased. His staff was very receptive and responsive and took very good care of me. I could not have been more pleased with them and after 6 months I am still happy I did it. When I look in the mirror I see my old self again. I did not want to look different. I just wanted to look like the me that was here a few years ago. I feel like I did 10 yrs ago. Why shouldn't I look that way.
My surgeon suggested that I might be a great candidate for Scupltra because I am thin and he described my cheeks as "gaunt". Yep, made me feel warm and fuzzy. I read through all of the mixed reviews and had put the procedure off once due to indecision. I didn't like the fact that I had to pay for it up front do to the fact that they have to prepare the solution a day in advance. I wasn't sure I would see the results that they Doc had claimed that I might. Well, I went in the day of my appt., I had paid two days prior. When I arrived, they whipped out the consent form- It included a series of possible risks, that had not been presented to me prior to that moment. Scaring was the biggest risk. So, here I stood, having already paid and feeling very backed into a corner. I went through with the procedure, which by itself was a fairly easy and simple one. I had a little bit of swelling for a few days and that was all. I did the massage procedure that they had shown me in the office. Within a week I had a few round pea like areas. These areas would pop up randomly where the injections had been and then within a few days would go down. Right under my left cheekbone though, I developed one that did not go away. It did not appear until well after the injections- say over a month later, and it did not go down. It continued to grow. A soft, moveable and palpable lump that became visible under my cheekbone. Last week the Doc injected a steroid into it and put it off as a minor complication that was "rare". Hmmm. It has started to go down, but I was warned that it may leave a hollow space where it was. Seriously? Would I do it again? No Would I tell others to do it? No It was expensive and the results are very subjective. I would have been better off with a filler that was injected as opposed to some medium that is supposed to make your collagen "grow".
I had a face lift plus under eye procedure, I cannot remember the name. I am very satisfied with my results. I did not have any problems afterwards except for some swelling which is normal. Dr. Putman was very informative on what he did and what I should expect. Love what he did. I would make a very high recommendation for his service. His staff was great also.
I am incredibly happy with the results of my facelift. I aslo had a necklift and eyelid surgery, It looks very natural. I look 10 years younger. My skin is taught aagain, my neck is less saggy and my eyes more open. I healed quickly and saw amazing results within the first 5-6 weeks. Dr. Putman is truly an artist!! His staff is top notch. I wish I had done this years ago. It has changed the way I feel about myself.
I just went in today and all is good so far. My doctor and his staff were very patient with me and answered all my questions. My doctor actually called me a few hours later to see how i was doing. No PAIN and just a little swelling, i kinda like the swelling i hope it doesnt go down much. I had a wonderful experience so far and will update tommorow. I really believe you have to find a great injector a artist if you will..... my doctor only deals with the face.
I have always hated the little "bump" on my nose and my profile. Since having surgery, my nose just seems to fit my face so much better. I absolutely love my results!
I had concerns about the tip of my nose drooping as I aged. I experienced very little pain and and no bruising. It takes a good 4-6 months to see the final results due to swelling.
"Father Time" was getting the best of me, particulary on my face and neck. Now I feel "refreshed" and better about my whole self!
You manifest mild infraorbital hollowing and are best treated nonsurgically with HA filler or fat transfer, for example. No surgery needed, especially at your age. Injections can be performed most safely with microcannulas.
Do not be concerned as this is likely norma post operative swelling. It often takes 3 months or more to resolve, so be patient and stay in touch with your surgeon please.
Ivan, you can achieve a much better profile balance from appropriate reduction rhinoplasty along with alar base narrowing, and that alone may obviate the need for chin augmentation. Computer imaging with your rhinoplasty surgeon would be most helpful in consultation.
Of course alar rim grafts can be surgically removed, but the question is whether you need them in the first place. Photos would be helpful, but as an alternative seek a second opinion from a board certified FPS or PS rhinoplasty expert.
I would advise strong consideration for rhinoplasty, as much more can be accomplished with permanent results. Fillers would mask the bump on your dorsum but only make the nose look too big anyway; and they are temporary! I advise consultation with a proven Rhinoplasty expert. You can discuss important aesthetic changes that you desire, such as reducing the dorsal hump, and others.
