When can I resume exercise after lipo/BBL?

Thank you for your question! For my patients having a BBL procedure, I recommend they take 3 weeks off of cardio at the gym, and 6 weeks off of weight training and yoga exercises. I recommend discussing specific post op instructions with your plastic surgeon. Best of luck!

hello thank you for your question and provided information as well..based on your question, the most advisable for exercises such as cardio is recommended to do them 2 months later, so that the fat is not absorbed quickly.ideally, consult in person with your plastic surgeon.

Always ask your plastic surgeon about specific activities and when they can be resumed after surgery.
However, if you are asking this question hypothetically, my response is working out may increase the muscle mass and in turn improve the shape.  I usually ask my patients to wait from 4 to 6 weeks, depending upon how the healing goes.  
Healing should be far enough along to reduce the incidence of complications.  I advocate continued exercise after a BBL as long as you do not lose body fat.  Keep an eye on your weight, and decrease the amount of exercise as warranted.
