I'm 18. My smile and cheek bones are more defined on my left side. On the right side it seems I either have excess fat or skin, making me look chubby when I smile on that side. I was hoping I could fix that naturally, maybe through exercises?, but I know I'd need surgery for the nose. When I was younger my nose was awesome. I want surgery not to change my appearance, but to change it back to how I feel I'm supposed to be. I just want to feel as beautiful as I feel I was meant to be. Thank you :)

It is very normal to not have taste/smell postoperatively for up to 6 weeks. The swelling on the inside of your nose impedes air flow which impedes smell and taste. This is very similar to having a cold, where you cannot smell and taste. It will improve. :)
I think that you can probably get close to that nose. I think that a natural look and smooth transitions are key. I perform closed rhinoplasty to minimize scarring.Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA
It may be a small suture abscess. This is also the location of dissolvable sutures that will gradually come out. You can gently clean the area with warm saline or dilute hydrogen peroxide and a q tip if your surgeon agrees.
