I tried to research but different doctors have different packages for a mommy makeover. I want a bbl bad I have nothing back there. My breast are really uneven. And after 4 kids at 29 179 pounds I feel I need a tummy tuck. I was told after a bbl I may not need a tummy tuck. I'm just so confused. On top of everything Im diabetic since 2012. What to do what to do. Not happy at all
Answer: Mommy makeover and BBL I would recommend losing some weight prior to having any cosmetic procedures as it will help improve your diabetes and give you a better outcome. You will likely need two separate stages to be safe. First I would recommend liposuction of your back, love handles and abdomen with fat transfer to the buttock (BBL). Then, six to nine months later, a combined breast lift with tummy tuck. This two staged approach is much safer than attempting to all procedures at one time. Consult with a few plastic surgeons in person for more detailed information.Best wishes,Dr.Bruno

Answer: Mommy Makeover Based on the information provided you will likely want to divide the procedures into two stages. The first stage would be liposuction and BBL. After healing from that you can address the breast lift and tummy tuck. This is all given that you are overall healthy, your diabetes is well controlled and that your BMI is 30 or under. See a board certified plastic surgeon near you to learn more.

Answer: You seem like a great candidate for a mommy makeover. Thank you for your question and photos. Getting a BBL could help streamline your stomach, but the amount of liposuction used for fat transfer procedures can only accomplish so much contouring. Liposuction also won’t get rid of excess skin, which a tummy tuck can do. Thus, I think you’d be a great candidate for a mommy makeover, as long as your BMI is under 30. Further, it is important that you reach your target weight range before scheduling your procedure.

Answer: Trying to Make Decision on MM or BBL, TT, and Breast Lift in Baby Steps Based on your photos, if your diabetes is under control, and you have a BMI near 30, you could benefit from a Mommy Makeover (body contouring with liposuction of the abdomen, sides, back, and bra rolls, a TT, and a breast lift) along with a BBL. You could have the TT and breast lift done first; then the lipo and BBL. However, the result will not be as tight as lipo and BBL first; and then TT and breast lift. This last option is why one of the plastic surgeon you consulted said you may not need a TT. If your body mass index (BMI) is above 30, you will need to discuss weight loss and exercise plans for for reaching your BBL goal with your PCP or plastic surgeon. Find a American Board of Plastic Surgery board certified plastic surgeon who performs hundreds of BBLs and mommy makeovers each year with favorable patient reviews. Also look at the plastic surgeon's website of before and after photos to determine who can obtain the results you are seeking.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA

Answer: Multiple procedures Hello and thank you for your question. Safety is always the number one priority when considering multiple procedures, especially since you have diabetes. The BBL should be performed first and then 3 months later you could undergo a tummy tuck and breast lift. Based on your photograph, you are a good candidate for a tummy tuck with liposuction. This can be done through a low incision, all completely below the bikini line. The belly button can be designed to look natural and have no scars on the exterior. Your muscles can also be plicated resulting in a flat abdomen. A breast lift can be performed at the same time for improved shape and contour of your breasts. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. Harvard-trained plastic surgeon
