Hair growing in wound separation. 3 weeks post-op. (photos)

Sorry for the difficulties you are having with your healing. The pubic hair you are seeing growing probably won't delay anything further. Its difficult to give you a timeline based on these photos alone, I'd suggest booking an appointment with your surgeon to be examined and ask them to give you a better sense of how long its likely to take to heal. Thank you for the question! It is rather difficult to fully evaluate your situation without an in-person exam. That being said, growth of pubic hair along your incision should not pose any particular problems for recovery. As for the possibility of infection, I would definitely recommend seeing your surgeon in-person. An in-person exam with a board-certified plastic surgeon would be the best way to assess your situation and guarantee an individualized medical advice.
