In good candidates, liposuction of the back and abdomen can be performed at the same time. For safety, we usually want to limit of the amount of fat removed to 5 Liters. Preoperative medical clearance is also necessary prior to liposuction.
Depending on your body size and health these procedures are commonly done together. Many patients can have these done without general anesthesia.
Take a look at my photos on realself and yelp, I am always doing full torso, arms, and chest at the same time. Often adding inner thigh and buttock, chest, shoulder fat grafting. This is consider hi definition full body contouring and can be done at the same time if someone is well trained. Best, Dr. Emer.
Thank you for your question. In general, it is possible and commonly performed procedure to undergo liposuction of the abdomen, flanks and back in one session. Provided you are healthy, up to 5000 mL can be removed in an outpatient setting. This harvested fat can be purified and used for buttock reshaping and augmentation BBL. You need to have a consultation for precise recommendations.
Thank you for your question. Assuming you are otherwise healthy, and a good candidate for liposuction, you can safely have back and abdominal liposuction performed during the same surgery.
It all depends how much excess fat you have in these two areas. Treating the front and back of the torso in one session is completely reasonable as long as the total volume of aspirate is less than 5 litres for outpatient surgery. The only way to know for sure if you are a good candidate is to book a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon near you to see what your options are. Best of luck!
Depending on your size and the amount of fat to be removed, there should be no contraindication to liposuction of those areas. The only issue is positioning, which may increase surgical time, but we do it all the time. Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon , good luck!
Thank you for your question. Yes, usually liposuction of the abdomen and back can be performed at the same time, but if the length of time of surgery is over 6 hours you may need to stay the night. Also you can not take more than 5 liters of fat. If the length of surgery is under a certain time and you don't need more than 5 liters removed then you can do it at the same time. Make a consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to discuss your concerns and what surgery combination is the best for you.
As long as you are healthy, liposuction of multiple areas of the body is completely acceptable. There are a few important rules that the surgeon has to adhere to when infusing the fluid during liposuction, so be sure to see a qualified plastic surgeon with a lot of experience.
