It’s been two months since my surgery and I’v been itching all over for at list 1 month and I have pimples all over my body, what is going on?

I suggest starting RF treatments like Venus legacy, Inmode forma, or BTL Exilis along with shock therapy like Cellutone, z wave, revive or Cellutone.  Oral Neurontin can also help.  This is normal for months after liposuction as you are healing.  Massage can also help.  Best, Dr. Emer.

earthgoddess.   I appreciate your concern, however it sounds like some sort of allergic reaction or contact dermatitis.  Are you wearing a new elastic garment? Have you recently started using a new detergent to wash your clothes or soap in the shower? I recommend that you consult with a board-certified dermatologist as it is doubtful that your procedure is causing this problem. Good luck.

You are still early on the healing process, it can take up to six months to see your final results, so please be patient. At the stage you are in, itching is due to the nerves healing.

from your description, this sounds like an allergic reaction. It could be evaluated by a dermatologist or also a specialist in allergy and immunology.  The surgery itself would not result in pimples all over your body.  Best wishes.

liposuction causes mild neurapraxia. This is a damage to the fatty covering of nerves called the myelin sheath. The healing of nerves is slower than other tissues because nerves require at something called  re-innovation. This happens at approximately 1 mm per day.  During this healing process patients often feel a combination of numbness and itching. This goes away with time as the nerve regeneration comes to completion. The absolute worst thing you can do is scratch your skin.  If you've been scratching her skin then stop immediately.  Pimples it's a late term for acne which are infectious breaks in the skin pores. It is unlikely you have acne of your skin. It is likely you have a skin rash from scratching your skin but I could be wrong.  Follow up with your plastic surgeon.  A mild anti-inflammatory steroid cream may be helpful. Best, Mats Hagstrom M.D.
