I was told that a breast lift alone is more expensive than a breast lift with implants. Why is that?

best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation.  There may be some confusion.  In my practice, a breast lift costs less than a breast lift with implants.  Cost does vary based on geographic region and surgeon expertise.   Make sure you specifically look at before and
after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your
surgeon and evaluate their results.   The most important aspect is to
find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation
with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in
person.

It sounds like there is some confusion on what surgery is being discussed. A full blown breast lift with implants is a longer, more difficult, and more costly surgery than just a breast lift. That by itself seems obvious. However, occasionally a breast augmentation is done and a very tiny version of a lift called a cresecent lift  which adds very little to the augmentation costs and could cost less than a full blown breast lift which is a longer procedure. I think you need to be seen in the office and get pricing on what you really need. I think this would clear up any confusion. Good luck.

It depends on the lift technique. The average cost varies a lot depending on the city, the clinic and the plastic surgeon. l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.

A breast lift with implant also know as a mastopexy augmentation is one of the most complex procedures in plastic surgery and would always costs more than a breast lift alone. In addition you have to add in the cost of the actual implants
As always you should make sure your surgeon is board certified in plastic surgery and has performed many of the procedures you are considering

I think it depends upon the technique used. Sometimes with an implant a small lift may be a circumareola. When you need a more formal lift using a lollipop or "T" closure, then the price will bet more. Best of luck.
