Periareolar or crescent lift average cost? I have mild ptosis and would prefer not to have a huge scar from a full lift.

Generally speaking, areolar lifts are less expensive than anchor pattern or vertical breast lifts. I would say the costs are middle of the road between average breast augmentation and full anchor breast lift in most practices. You should have some consultations or call around for a “ballpark” estime. However, you should at least see one surgeon before calling too much to make sure you even qualify for the areola lift or whether you would benefit more from a traditional breast lift. Good luck, Dr. Aldo

best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation.  The cost of a breast lift varies based on geographic region, surgeon expertise, and type of breast lift.   Make sure you specifically look
at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery
performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.   The most
important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend
that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who
can evaluate you in person.

A lift around the nipple/areola is less expensive than a complete lift with the 'anchor' scars.  Difficult to give you the bottom line, however, most likely halfway between a complete lift and just implants alone.  It takes less time than a full lift which means operating room and anesthesia costs are less as well.The question that needs to be answered is if you are a candidate for that lift.  It does not lift as much as other lifts so only recommended for a minor sag.Best bet is to see several experienced, board-certified plastic surgeons for their opinions.Good luck!Dr Spies

It's safe to say that no one likes the scars needed for a full lift.  When its possible to use a more limited lift it always makes sense to do it.  However, in many cases, your surgeon just can't get the same results with a limited lift that he can with a full.  Although a full lift takes longer, has more, scars, and is more expensive its never a good idea to try to achieve your optimal results with a less than optimal operation.  Your taking the right first step by obtaining a consultation.  After you know what you need, than you can see if its affordable.
