Can anything be done to help correct wide set implants and push them closer together? (Photo)

Question

I had 425cc gummy bear implants placed under the muscle 3 days ago and because of my anatomy they are very wide set. I am muscular 5"7. Is there anything I can do to help them come together? I saw on YouTube people pulling them together by tying together the bra straps in from with a hair tie and using pads to push them. Will this make any difference ? Is it worth a try or dangerous while healing?

A Racerback style bra will apply lateral pressure to the implants. Avoid sleeping on your breasts which will push the implants to the side.

Cleavage has been improved from your pre op photo. Your sternum mid chest bone impacts on the placement of the implant. Your need for cleavage should be discussed before the operation. It is possible to place implants based on the midline and eccentric to the aureolas in select patients. Gummi bear textured implants are not going to move. Check with your plastic surgeon. Your breasts were wide set and implants don't really affect the natural anatomy. You do have a nice improvement and I would not recommend trying to shift them.Close follow up with your plastic surgeon is recommended.

I would not advise any intervention without the approval of your operative surgeon.  Breast implants need to be centered under the nipple/breast mound.  Ignoring the patient's anatomy in order to artificially create cleavage can lead to a very unnatural look in which the nipple is displaced toward the armpit.  I would advise letting yourself heal by the guidelines of your surgeon.  You may find in the end that you have an excellent result.  You really are to early in the process to get a good idea of what you'll ultimately look like.  Good luck!

Your result looks nice. Unfortunately, there is nothing that is advisable to do to change the way your breasts look. You either have cleavage or you don't. The only reliable and safe way to create cleavage is to use a bra to do it.

Your cleavage is defined by your anatomy.  You can not force them much closer  without potentially causing a problem like symmastia.

Hello. Your anatomy dictates where your implants are placed. An implant needs to be centralized behind your breast otherwise your breasts would look deformed. I would recommend to avoid trying this during the healing period, as you really don't want to displace your implants. The reason why it is not possible to create a narrower cleavage with breast augmentation is that implants have to be centered on the nipple, to avoid weird shapes with nipples pointing outward, which is exactly what would happen if you ever managed to push your implants closer to the midline of your chest.
