I want my breasts to sit higher on my chest and would also be interested in decreasing the size of the areola and removing axillary breast tissue in the armpits. I am definitely concerned about the potential for scars and loss of sensation. What are my options here? Thanks for your help! (note: in the third photo I am using my hand to pull the breast upwards to approximate how I would ideally want it to look)
Answer: Lift A breast lift with liposuction to the axilla would work well for you. If you wanted, you could also have a small reduction at the same time to be smaller. I would suggest meeting with a board-certified plastic surgeon and discussing your concerns and options.

Answer: Breast lift Hi, I think a breast lift is your beast option; it solves your lower nipple/areola position and can reduce the size of your areolas at the same time. We're so much better at how we do surgery then in prior years but unfortunately breast lifts do require trading lower breast position and larger areolas for scars that should heal into nice thin scars. There are no-scar breast lift treatments from InMode but I think you are hoping for more change than that technique can offer. As I mentioned we are better at surgical techniques and nipple sensation change is rarely an issue- but that's not 100%. The nerves do come into the nipple/areola from inside the breast so more superficial breastlift techniques should not change your nipple sensation. The reason why I said it's not 100% because not every breast is the same with identical anatomy; your nerves could be different. The risk of nipple sensation change should be almost zero but you can never guarantee that. Adding a little liposuction to the axillary area and bra roll area can easily be done for fat. In you age group, skin tightening with either radiofrequency, laser or other methods can be considered. True breast tissue near the axilla may need to be excised formally Best Wishes!!!

Answer: Lift and Axillary Tissue Thank you for your question. From your photos it looks like you would be a very good candidate for a breast lift, likely a vertical lift, with a lollipop shaped incision. With this the areola can be reduced in size. The axillary incision can be handled by either liposuction or a short excision. Check in with a board certified plastic surgeon and best of luck! Dr. Romanelli

Answer: At 23 I recommend Bellesoma Method The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. The weight of the breast is transferred to the underlying pectoralis major muscle resulting in pain relief and long term stability. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. The areolas can be reduced to the size you desire. Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
